Details are emerging on a potential reality competition loosely based on the film "The Longest Yard." In the film a group of prisoners led by a fallen ex-pro are to challenge a group of prison guards in a game of football.
The new series would be a competition with current prisoners to make a team that is led by Aaron Hernandez. Week to week different positions will be filled by a competition.
A producer who wished to remain nameless tells Trashinal Sports, "We originally had the idea way back when we thought that Ray Lewis would be our star. Obviously some things fell through there and it never came to light. Aaron has been cooperative, yet intense. His original idea was for him to shoot players as they weren't chosen for teams, but we felt that was a little intense. Obviously we still have some major details to iron out, but we know Aaron isn't going anywhere anytime soon."
